Candlelight Yin Yoga Class

The Holiday Season is a time when our schedules may be full of noise, activity, stress, and obligations with family and friends. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the season, there is nothing more important than making the time to care for yourself.

We invite you to greet the season in a supportive, nurturing and quiet place, a time where your body can come to a restful stillness. Join Yoga for Eating Disorders yoga teacher Jessica Grosman for a Candlelight Yin Yoga class on Tuesday, November 22, from 8 to 9 PM EST. Light a candle, and come to your mat for a practice themed in Gratitude. Allow your body to slow down and receive the rest that you deserve.

Follow along live on Zoom or with the recording at a time that works for your schedule. All participants will receive the recording and have access to it through January 2, 2022.

This yoga classes are taught from a trauma informed, eating disorder informed, and mental health informed perspective and are accessible for all bodies. All are welcome. No prior yoga or Yin yoga experience required.

HERE’S WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT JESSICA’S CLASSES

“I recently signed up for Jessica’s Compassionate & Mindful Yin Yoga six-week series. I am thoroughly enjoying the weekly themes and I notice how coming back to the theme allows me to stay mindfully present in the poses. I appreciate the way Jessica verbally explains how to flow into the poses rather than demonstrating as I notice the “comparative mind” is not present (because I am not watching her body get into the pose/shape.) I feel like this class is very accessible and enjoy that when my schedule does not permit me to join live with the class, I can rely on the recorded sessions to unwind when I’m ready.” —Suzanne B.

“Jessica’s Yin series was lovely. And my back feels really good. I am having chronic low back pain, so I put all kinds of props around my forward folds and was very mindful about lengthening instead of deepening. And it feels great now. I would typically have pain after that.”— Heather M.

“I’m so grateful for the approach Jessica brings to her Compassionate and Mindful Yin Yoga classes.  She’s calm and her voice instills peace in my heart.” —Susie Voss
