Body Peace and Mindful Ease Yoga Series

This 6-week virtual yoga class series invites you to move with gentle ease and breathe with intention to create space for peace in your body and mind. Follow along live or with the recording (Note: Only the teacher will be recorded, not the participants).

With gentle curiosity, we will slowly flow through yoga poses to help settle our minds and find appreciation for our bodies. Each week will explore a different recovery related theme.

This special class series, led by Yoga for Eating Disorders teacher Heather McCornack will meet on Zoom on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 PM EST on January 11, January 18, January 25, February 1, February 8, and February 15. Join the live class or follow along with the recordings (Note: Only the teacher will be recorded, not the participants). You are welcome to practice with your camera on or off.

These yoga classes are taught from a trauma informed, eating disorder informed, and mental health informed perspective. All are welcome. No prior yoga experience required.

What People Are Saying About Heather’s Yoga Classes

“For someone who has very little experience with yoga, these classes allowed me to get more than my feet wet. Heather met us where we were in experience. She provided an inclusive and safe environment. This experience has sparked my interest in yoga.” -EH

“It was wonderful! I appreciated very much the gentle yoga doses, the positive body language, and the supportive community. I enjoyed that it was offered at home, and I was able to release emotions in a safe space. I particularly enjoyed the poems/readings Heather shared.” -Amy Hageman

“Nice class and very welcoming. I most enjoyed having a space to move or not move in, without judgement or expectations and options to do as much or as little as I'd like. I loved Heather's relaxed yet aware presence.” -Danielle Jacobs
