Exploring Gratitude - Thanksgiving Day

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Melodie Beattie

Join us for a special holiday writing workshop to celebrate Thanksgiving in community on Thursday, November 25 from 11 AM to 1 PM EST. All are welcome!

Thanksgiving is a verb. Yoga for Eating Disorders teacher and Brave Writing Workshops Founder Babette Dunkelgrun will guide you in exploring the practice of giving thanks, and collectively, we'll move deeper into the act of gratitude and appreciation. In this workshop we will use mindfulness, reading excerpts, and writing prompts to meet ourselves and each other in connection and thankfulness.

This event will take place on Zoom, and you will be sent a link in advance to join. Honoring collective anonymity, there will be no recordings.

What People Are Saying About Babette’s Writing Workshops

“Just like with my yoga practice, my writing is improved when I attend classes and practice within a community. Meeting some lovely women across the country who are also using writing as a way to navigate their recovery really brought me comfort and inspiration. Chatting with others about some of the ideas that begin to bounce around inside when approaching a prompt can be so cathartic and also help to focus the direction of my thoughts, making my writing a little less scattered and much more focused.” - Lesa Tanner

“I enjoyed realizing that I truly was not alone in some of my feelings. I loved that I became very comfortable by the end of the course that I shared some true emotions.” -Shae Habersham

“Babette was so welcoming and compassionate. She met me where I was and that was all ok. It is clear she enjoys what she does. The "no writing experience necessary" was also an important aspect for me. She was accessible via email and sent us follow-up prompts and other resources.” -Erin Hurley

Tuition: $35
