Yoga & Journaling Workshop: Healing Your Relationship with Food

Meet instructor Caroline Young and learn more about this workshop.

This 90-minute virtual workshop is for anyone, at any stage in eating disorder recovery, who wishes to cultivate a healthier relationship with food (and ultimately, themselves). Through a yoga practice, which includes a gentle physical sequence, breathwork and meditation, combined with guided journaling prompts, you will be invited to tap into multiple layers of your relationship with food.

You will be given non-judgmental space and time to observe sensations, thoughts, beliefs, and emotions to cultivate new insight and understanding. At the end, you will leave with at least one next healing step to take towards a better relationship with food.

This virtual workshop will be led by registered dietitian and Yoga for Eating Disorders faculty member Caroline Young, MS, RD, LD, RYT and will meet on Zoom on Friday, August 4 from 9:30 AM to 11 AM EST. You are welcome to join live or participate via the recording. Attending live is highly encouraged.

This workshop is taught from a trauma informed, eating disorder informed, and mental health informed perspective and is accessible for all bodies. All are welcome. No prior yoga or journaling experience is required.

“I loved the summer series with Caroline Young. I found each meeting a healing experience as Caroline expertly led us through a series of exercises (e.g., yoga, meditation, breathing) that helped me gain deeper insight into myself.”
