Gentle Yoga: Movement for Healing and Connection

"If you think of your body as a house, movement is the large front door swinging open to allow your awareness, your thinking, to enter back inside where you have always belonged."
- Hillary L. McBride, PhD

Join us for a 6-week gentle yoga series led by Yoga for Eating Disorders teacher Heather McCornack. This yoga class is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself in gentle and mindful ways.

With readings from the book, The Wisdom of the Body, by Dr. Hillary McBride as inspiration, these classes will use flowing sequences, held yoga poses, and restorative stillness as ways to practice internal awareness and to support your recovery in mind, body, and spirit. These classes will use props.

This class series will meet on Zoom on Wednesdays from 11 AM to 12 PM EST in the US / 5 PM to 6 PM CEST in Europe on September 21, September 28, October 5, October 12, October 19, and October 26.

All are welcome from around the world to participate in this series. Join the live class or follow along with the recordings. Only the teacher will be recorded, not the participants, and you are welcome to practice with your camera on or off.

These classes are taught from a trauma informed, eating disorder informed, and mental health informed perspective. All are welcome. No prior yoga experience required.
